On my PC, I installed WBFS Manager 3.0 to copy my backup to my USB drive.
In my backup folder I used to have some backup (iso) file in it with some in folder. In this folder the backup file are compressed in rar.
I used WBFS to add a compressed backup to the USB drive. WBFS uncompressed the backup file one folder up, where most of my backup was...
It added the backup to the USB Drive with no problem BUT... when I closed WBFS, all my other backup file was gone...not only the uncompressed one!!!!!!!!!! NNNNOOOOOOO!!!!!!
I lost most of my backup this way.... I tried to use a recovery tools but was not able to recover my iso file!!!! :-(
I will have to start all my backup again!!! :-(
Here how to test what I tried to explain :
1 - Create a backup folder called "backup"
2 - In the "backup" folder, copie some backup files like "game1.iso", "game2.iso"...
3 - In "backup", create a new folder called "rar_backup"
4 - In the "rar_backup", copy a compressed backup like "game3(compress).rar"
5 - Open WBFS Manager and "Browse" to the "rar_backup" and open "game3(compress).rar"....
This step will create a "game3(compress).iso" file in the backup folder.
6 - Add the file to the USB Drive
7 - When done, "Close" WBFS.
Now, go in the backup folder.... all the .iso file in the "backup" folder are gone!!!!!
