-I used EASEUS to partition my Western Digital 500GB External HDD into an 80GB partition and a 420GB partition.
-I used the WBFS Manager to format the 80GB partition and it did its thing and formatted it. Then I pressed load, and everything went fine.
-I copied Metroid Corruption onto the WBFS partition. It seemed to copy fine.
-I pluged my HDD into the wii and selected the USB Loader from the Homebrew Channel.
-I selected Hard drive as the media to be used and it told me that it found no WFBS partitions.
-I thought this was weird, but I went ahead an formatted the 80GB partition again using the wii.
-Just for a test, I ripped SSBB onto the hard drive.
-I then tried to test it out and play it, but it returned the "(ret = 0)" error, and froze.
-I then plugged the HDD back into my computer, restarted the WBFS Manager, and went straight to try to load the 80GB partition. It loaded, however the only game on there was Metroid Corruption.
-For a test, I just deleted the 80GB volume, and plugged it back into the wii. Sure enough, SSBB was still on there...
-I went back to my computer and expanded the 420GB partition to 460GB (after shrinking the 80GB partition and formatting the new 40GB partition to a Primary Fat32 partition, of course), effectively halving the space for the wii Isos.
-I then went into the WBFS Manager to format the partition but it gave me the error "An error occured while attempting to format the drive.".
-I went back to trying it in the wii and went to load the HDD, and then format it, but wouldn't you know, the SSBB data is STILL there! (by the way, at this point, the usb loader is showing that the drive is a 80GB that has all 80GBs of memory used up.
-So I tried playing it a few times, and it seemed like it was going to work once, but then froze, and after a while, showed a code dump.
-After that, I pretty much gave up and came here to see if you could solve this problem.
